Hi everyone, Hikari here!

It's almost February, which means it's almost the busiest moving season in Japan! 🚚💨

It can be quite costly to move in Japan.

Usually landlords will require you to make a security deposit and sometimes gratuity fee, either of which can be around from 1 to 2 months of rent, in addition to the cleaning fee and lock replacement fee.  Then there is also the fee you pay for rental guarantor companies, brokers and insurance. All of these can amount to you having to pay 4 to 6 times your rent in your first month after moving. Quite a sum of money. 😓

Alright, let's move on to the real reason why you're here.

This month's animation is about our beloved DOOG, Korone! 🥐

The whole animation is around 3:20 long and fully voice-acted so you can immerse yourself with the scenario, which is about Korone when she's in her mating season.

There are also English subtitles as well!

Since Patreon doesn't allow videos to be played directly in posts, here is a GIF file as a sample.

I had to compress it a bit to fit in the file size limitation so it'll look worse than in the video.

Sorry about that.

You can download the sample video at the end of this post, in the attachment section.

Full animation is available on the Discord server!

Can you guess what animation it will be for next month?

That's all for now. Hope you all have a great weekend and I will see you again in the next update!

4 to 6 times your rent in the first month!? That's insane! Why the hell do they ask for "gratuity fees"? Oh, fantastic animation by the way.

Thank you! I had a great time drawing Korone. I think I might draw her again in the near future. Gratuity fees were originally a fee parents, whose children are moving from the countryside to the cities, give to landlords back in the days so they will take care of their children. The tradition persists even now although has lost some of its original meanings and now serves as a counter measure to turn away potential bad tenants.
