I have always thought of it less as an incentive and more as a way for me to give something exclusive back to you for being here. It kind of felt like a secret club where I could let you in on my plans. But as I am no longer in need of the stable income and have more patrons than ever, it has begun to feel worse--like I'm trying to get some extra cash from everyone by making these posts paywalled. So I think it should change.

I want to cast a vote though.

(The Patreon discord channel would remain patron-only.)

dev logs / posts are the same thing

I think it's fun to be able to pay for a chance at an inside scoop on your projects, while supporting you. With the virality of your game I assume some stuff is leaked anyway so I think releasing them later for free is fine and a good backlog for people to look at.

I feel like there's a lot of information that's not on patreon I'd like to be. I'm not really following chat in discords or anything so I get a lot of my game update news from this patreon, which has surprising gaps in information
