Lethal Company is still making steady progress. It's now the longest project I've worked on. Since the last post, I finished a new enemy type (in record time) which simulates fluid physics very basically using bones/armature and raycasts. The "hoarder bug" enemy, which I mentioned in the last post, has been the most fun enemy to test. I just realized its name also takes on two meanings.

I finally got around to finishing the bestiary system. Scanning enemies unlocks files that look like this. It feels really great because it gives players another goal, which is just to encounter and scan all the enemies in the game (like Metroid Prime.) Other than that, the "goal" of the game was just to explore every planet.


Then I created another planet which is the third I've done so far. This one is called Vow, and I think it will be my favorite so far. I'm about to make some outside-enemy types to live in this biome. So far there are 6 enemies in the game, but I feel like I'm just getting started with that.
