State of the Skeleton: Water, water, everywhere (Patreon)

Hi all!

This week got derailed when we found our bedroom carpet completely soaked on Sunday morning. While nothing of ours got damaged (yay!), it is going to take several days to get the issue fixed. So we bundled ourselves and our dogs to a hotel and have done our best to get work done here. At the moment, we’re not sure when the apartment will be ready for us to return, but we can still go home to do liveshots or anything that has to be done from our office. But noisy repairs mean we’re going to wait to figure out when to do our next podcast. In the meantime, I have got updates on 3 projects for ya!

Microsoft Game Room

Finally, Game Room should be ready for you guys to watch next week! Yesterday we went back to the apartment to shoot the liveshots. The live script itself wasn’t too long, but the process took all day because I needed to troubleshoot a mysterious camera issue. Sometimes these things happen! But in the end, we got it done. I am hoping to get a first draft of the edit in a couple of days.

Castlevania Game.Com

Did you know that on Halloween someone dumped the entire prototype for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for GAME.COM?? Game.Com!! Of course we immediately downloaded it and got it working on our PC. Luckily, we spent the Saturday before the leak capturing footage, and have been working on a script for it from the hotel. Y’all, it’s MASSIVE. I can’t believe how far along the game was. SPOILERS (?): you can actually get all the way to the Richtor fight! Absolute insanity. We’re still in the early stages of this video, but my goal is for it to come out early December.

Faceball 2000

I don’t know if you heard about it on the podcast, but Faceball has ended up a monster in its own right! I am still sorting through all of our footage, and working with the Faceballers to see if it would be possible to still get a 16 player game going. Unfortunately, I’m not able to work on this one at the moment because our footage is on our PC at the apartment.
