Hello Skelefam!

I'm back from the grave! I live! I swear! Once again on that problem of too many project and not finishing any of them! Exhibit A: this is February's UDUG but it's being released in March! That really sucks and I'm sorry about that! But I guess you'll get two UDUG's this month?? Eh? Because I'm a piece of shit who takes on too many projects hahaha

Anywho, voting for March's UDUG will be tomorrow! And will run all week until Sunday at midnight.

To make up for missing last month's Patreon exclusive video, I have make-good planned, another exclusive video.

And while we're here, some production updates! The Densha de GO! video is being edited right now, and will be 2/3rds done by tonight (hopefully more??). My dreamcast and capture card both dying last month didn't help things, though that's not why this video is coming in March instead of February. The topic kinda fell into my lap right before new years and Japanese train simulators and controllers is such a fun and weird rabbit hole, the video expanded way past just playing Doom and Street Fighter with train controllers! The good news is we have an ad spot for this video and we've already had to push back the release date. Why is that good news? Because they're pissed and not going to give me any more time so it's gonna force me to finish the damn thing, haha!

Big happenings with the big Faceball 2000 16-player Gameboy Multiplayer project. In short, we cracked it. Or really the team cracked it! We had the first successful full 16-player game back in January. It was just with close friends and it was filmed! Then the option to have the first public 16-player game fell into our laps with Midwest Gaming Classic in early-April. This would effectively be the end of the journey! I'm in talks for a potentially screening of the documentary I've been making, and then shooting the ending at the public event! Which is super exciting! But it means I suddenly have to finish that video this month too!! Luckily I've been working on this project off and on for over a year but it's still going to be a lot to get it ready for early April.

Plus I'm going to be doing a podcast with Scott the Woz in a few weeks. Not sure when it'll be going out but I'm pretty excited about that. And then I'm turning 40 a few days after that! A new pb, 40 year streak of not dying! This is the run, can't quit now! There's a lot going on, sorry for the radio silence in February but I didn't want to come back here unless I actually had something for you.

See you tomorrow for the voting!

I got the Batman collectors edition with the batarang thing. Tbh it’s what mostly put me off collectors editions. The booklet was neat but clearly so cheap. And the batarang was dumb as hell. Also the cardboard case was inferior to the standard case for the game and that bugged me!

I also got the fallout 3 and new Vegas ones and those were a lot better. Especially 3 with the art book, lunch box, AND bobblehead. Really liked it!

Yo, Uncle D, my fellow ADHDer, I freakin' FEEL that first paragraph in my bones, man! and I still catch myself saying those sorts of things to/about myself... and sometimes we just gotta let that frustration out... AND, I also know that there would be far, far too many skeletons fighting if not for your endless curiousity and your fun-loving self! I love this channel so much, and it makes me so happy to see so more men out there leaning into joy and fun. It's needed. So thank you (and Producer Grace!), and happy birthday!!!
