____________

You didn’t expect to wake up to the sight of a noodle dragon, but here you are.

Maybe falling asleep at your desk wasn’t such a great idea after all.

He smiles at you. Various parts of his body appear to be stitched together, like a plushie. But his wide sneer and broken eye make sure you realize he isn’t a loving creature.

“Who are you? And w-what do you want?” you blurt out.

The dragon chuckles. “Call me Ferrus. Your stutters are adorable, by the way. I love helpless prey.~”

“Prey…?”

“That’s right,” he agrees. “Prey. I’m a predator, and you are my prey. Soon to be in my stomach.”

You blink. Then, “You don’t really meant that you’re going to eat me…right?”

The stitched dragon laughs loudly at you. “Oh, you clueless little thing,” he sneers with a smile. “Creatures like you, you really don’t understand, do you? All you are is food. That’s your only purpose.”

“But—”

“Ah, ah, ah. I don’t give a shit what you were before. Did you have a job, a home, a family? Well, none of that matters anymore. None of that matters at all. Because all along, you were preparing yourself to be my wonderous, perfect meal.”

He smiles, tail slowly wrapping around your body. “And now, you’re here! Right where you’re meant to be: with me, your devourer, about to be consumed, a part of me forever. Won’t that be wonderful?~”

With that, his tail is firmly wrapped around you, hugging you tightly—and keeping you in place.

There is no escape.

You look up at Ferrus. “P-please…” you say in a raspy voice.

He leans forward. “Sorry, I can’t heeeeear you. Speak up.~”

You swallow, trying to clear your dry throat. “Please,” you say again, your voice louder now, “let me go!”

“Sorrrrrrry, what was that? A bit louder, please.~”

“LET ME GO!”

Your voice is a shout, a begging, pleading scream of desperation & helplessness.

The dragon sneers. “Ahhhhh, now I can hear you. Nice & loud.~”

Your throat hurts from yelling. “P-please, just let me go…” you say again.

“Hmmmmm…”

You look up at the dragon, and are surprised to see that he actually seems to be considering it. Your face lights up as finally—finally!—you see a glimmer of hope. Maybe he really will let you go! Maybe it’ll be—

But suddenly, his expression changes to a mocking, maniacal laugh. “Oh, did you actually think I was considering your little request?” He shakes his head. “Oh no, not at all. Just wanted to add a little spiceto my meal. Snatching away that last bit of hope from your prey…it adds a nice bit of flavor.”

“N-no…”

“So, with that out of the way, let’s get you eaten up!~”

“NOOOOOOO!”

Your screams are loud, but Ferrus’ cruel laughter is louder.

He lifts you up using his tail, and brings you to his opening mouth.

Your eyes widen as you see his gaping maw, a living cavern, eager to welcome you in, forever…

And suddenly, his tail releases you, and you’re dropped inside that open mouth.

His tongue is the first thing that touches you. It wraps around you eagerly, tasting you, prodding you, treating you like the meal you are. You hear Ferrus give a satisfied sound as he takes in your flavor—you must taste better than even he expected. But that’s not what you want—you want to get out of here! You try to crawl backwards, out of the maw, but suddenly, the mouth wraps around you, and swallows you—and with that you go further in, all of a sudden near Ferrus’ throat. Part of you is still sticking out of his mouth, but you know the second all of you is inside him, you’ll slide down his throat—with no way back up.

“HELP! SOMEONE, ANYONE! HELP!!!” You scream in desperation, not wanting this to be in the end of you.

But your voice merely echoes in Ferrus’ wide, open throat before you, confirming what you dreaded: no one can hear you.

With that, Ferrus swallows again—and all of you is in his mouth now. “No no NO!” you shout, but it’s too late. You fall into this throat, your entire body soon squeezed tightly in his gullet. This doesn’t seem possible—how can you even fit to slide down his throat?!—and yet, it’s happening, with no way to stop it.

Finally, the tight, enclosed tunnel ends and your body emerges into a wider, wet, domed space.

You can barely fit in the dome, but at least it isn’t the narrow, squeezing tunnel of the gullet. You feel the dome’s walls, and as you touch them and take in their slightly rubbery texture, you realize where you are:

Ferrus’ stomach.

The noodle dragon seems to know you’ve realized this, because right at that moment, you hear him laugh evilly. “That’s right, my wonderful prey,” he says, his voice slightly muffled by his belly’s walls. “You’re finally where you belong.”

Your eyes widen. That means…

“And soon, you’ll digest, as a good meal should, and melt into chum.~”

“No…” you whisper. “This can’t be happening…”

“Oh, but it is. And I must say, I’m very much enjoying it.~”

You start to sob. “No…no…!”

“Oh yes,” Ferrus counters. “In fact, shall I jump-start the process a bit?”

Your eyes widen. “What do you—”

But you don’t get to finish before you feel something pressing on the belly—hard.

It takes you a moment you realize what’s happening. Ferrus is pressing on his belly with his paws, massaging his stomach to get the digestion process to begin…

Right on cue, his stomach gurgles loudly.

The slightly wet chamber around you begins to get even more moist as stomach acids fill the dome. They surround you, beginning to melt you into the sludge that will become a part of the dragon. You try to scream again, but find your strength is leaving you.

Slowly, as Ferrus continues massaging his stomach full of you, you’re melted into chum by the acids.

The last thing you hear before the world fades into nothingness is Ferrus’ satisfied voice:

“Soon, you’ll be a part of me, where you belong.~”
