Hey gang!

Sorry I totally forgot to recap February - honestly my tracking fell apart this month with all the medical nonsense - looking at my accounts I'm down about -9.2u. Obviously not good but we're starting to pick up steam! I'll try to do better in March for everyone! I'll get an exact recap in a bit too!

I'm playing a couple MLS plays tonight! Half a unit on each!

**I'm doing these before lineups because I'll be out tonight, if you're able to wait till lineups that's always better**

MLS Plays Tonight. .5u Each

San Jose v LA Galaxy. Riqui Puig TSOA (To Score or Assist) +200. 10:30pm ET  (Fanduel)

*Thoughts*

While the numbers weren't that impressive, Puig led LA Galaxy last season in combined Goals and Assists. He started off in their season opener against Inter Miami last week absoltuley SWINGING. 4 shots on target, one of the woodwork, a missed PK, not good but shooters shoot. I think that after so many close chances this is the kinda spot we back him to show up, even as the underdogs. He's a good talent and after disappointing games he's got that mentality to show up and get one back for this team.

Portland Timbers v DC United. BTTS + Over 2.5 goals. -115. 10:30pm ET. MLS

- Score Prediction. 2-2 Draw / 2-1 Timbers

*Thoughts*

Gotta be honest, I don't have a good reason for this one besides I'm going to a bar with a buddy specifically to watch this game and if I'm going to watch a 90 minute MLS games dammit I'm betting on goals! He's a big DC fan and told me that this game should have goals so I'm trusting him! If you don't want to tail this play that's totally fine, but as always if I'm putting money on it I'm sharing it with y'all! haha

Here's my slate for tomorrow! I did an article so including 2 picks for the Manchester Derby!

3/2 Slate:

MANCHESTER CITY vs. MANCHESTER UNITED | 3/3 | 10:30 a.m. ET

- Score prediction. 3-0 Man City

Picks

  • Man City Over 2.5 Team Total -120 (one unit)
  • Kevin de Bruyne to have an assist +100 (one unit)

Analysis
Get ready for an ugly, ugly Manchester Derby. If you have a Manchester United fan in your life, you might want to check on him or her after this match. I'm expecting nothing but domination from the Citizens as a battered and bruised Manchester United side travels to Etihad Stadium for what is sure to be a bloodbath. This matchup is a battle of clubs with form and injuries on opposite ends of the spectrum.

While Manchester City are finally welcoming back all their top talent, with the likes of Kevin de Bruyne and Erling Haaland getting back into the starting XI, Manchester United are saying goodbye to theirs. Rasmus Hojlund will be out for this matchup with a muscle injury, which means the Red Devils' most prolific scorer will not be available in their biggest match of the year.

Recency bias is understandable after watching what Manchester City did to Luton Town in the FA Cup on Tuesday. Haaland scored five goals in the team's 6-2 victory while de Bruyne picked up four assists in the process. The timing of this matchup is going to be brutal for Manchester United with the hosts, in a title race, looking to pass Liverpool on the table.

While a healthy Hojlund would have helped keep this match competitive, his absence will mean the visitors do not have a strong and established number 9 in this matchup. Marcus Rashford will look to step up, but he just hasn't been able to find form this season. I'm taking City to win this match and win handedly.

Frosinone v Lecce. BTTS -135. Serie A. 9am ET

- Score Prediction. 2-1/ 2-2 Frosinone Lean

*Thoughts*

Same as Roma today. It's Frosinone, at home, I'm taking BTTS as long as it's below -200 LOL. They've been getting smacked at home lately but are still rocking an 85% BTTS Hit rate at home. Lecce are appalling on the road but still are hitting it enough for me to take a stab here at playable odds!

Montpellier v Racing Strasbourg. Over 2.5 goals. -110. 9am ET. France Ligue 1

- Score Prediction. 2-1 Montpellier / 3-0 Montpellier

*Thoughts*

Listen. I'm not the biggest number guy, but both of these clubs have hit over 2.5 goals in their last five matches straight,  the reverse fixture ended 2-2, both teams are having troubles keeping healthy players and dealing with drama off the pitch, both teams are awful defense. I was going to take this last week expecting it to be -150 and it's -110. Must bet for me .
