Well thanks to the heroics of Japan with the own goal and Ivan Toney coming through once again we escape with a smidge of profit today!

I'll get exact numbers here later tonight but didn't want to miss getting plays up! I'm looking somewhere like January was a -16u month for me but will get exact results here

Thanks for sticking with me! We lost a lot of members this month and I don't blame them! I'm excited to prove to everyone that we're in this for the long haul and have ourselves a wonderful February and 2024!

Here's what I'm taking tomorrow! Cheers gang!  2 1u plays from me! West Ham is the favorite play!

2/1 Slate:

West Ham v Bournemouth. West Ham DNB -130. EPL. 2:30pm ET.  *Favorite Play*

- Score Prediction. 2-1 West Ham

*Thoughts*

Bournemouth kicked some serious ass last month and found themselves a little bit of a hot streak, specifically in attack! They are not coming off a tough couple back to back losses and are fighting West Ham at a tough time here. West Ham will finally have a fit front squad with Kudus back from AFCON, Bowen finally healthy again and Warde-Prosse available for selection as well. West Ham fighting for a European spot and. being solid defensively at home makes me think they at least get a point out of this, and for me DNB is playable up to -150 here.

Getafe v Real Madrid. BTTS +100. LaLiga. 3pm ET.

-Score Prediction. 1-1/2-2/2-1 Real Madrid slight lean

*Thoughts*

Keeping my incredible Girona bias out of all of this and the fact that I want Real Madrid to lose. I will say I think even odds here is really sexy here for a couple reasons:

  • 1. Getafe at home is weirdly good. Per footballwhispers.com "Getafe are unbeaten at the Coliseum in La Liga since Jose Bordalas returned as coach in April, with their only home league defeat in that period coming in a game that was played on neutral territory against Rayo at the Estadio Metropolitano."

  • 2. Real Madrid are leaking goals right now. They've conceded in their last 6 straight.

  • 3. Real Madrid is in a look ahead spot. We see it all the time where a good club like Madrid looks past a smaller club like Getafe to focus on something else and slips. Real Madrid have Atletico Madrid on Sunday and they're going to be a bit distracted in my mind!
