Through hell and high waters is I think the saying! If you're sitting out for a hot minute I do not blame you!  I'm pushing forward, no matter how many missed PKs it takes!! January is on track to be my second worst being month yet, but we freaking push on!

I've included all 5 of the remaining StoppageTime picks as well! those won't have write-ups yet but wanted those all in written form here for people that want a look ahead!  BOL friends!

Recap: -3.5u

Here's what I'm on tomorrow! I did an article so including that as well. Taking things pretty light tomorrow and just on two games!

1/26 Slate. two 1u play and 1 half unit play

1u play ST Play:

Almeria v Alaves. Almeria to score in the second half or Almeria over .5 TT 2h. -110. 3pm ET. LaLiga *StoppageTime Play / Favorite Play*

Score Prediction: 2-1/2-2. Sight Almeria Lean

Thoughts:

This entire play is based on the "robbery" that Almeria experienced during their match against Real Madrid. I'm not going to get into the "was it rigged or not" but I will say Almeria is pissed off like nothing else. Management, ownership, players, other teams, everyone is talking about their 3-2 loss to Madrid. Regardless, Almeria is in dead last without a win, but they looked so stinking  good against Girona and Real Madrid almost getting points off both. Now is the time they take that anger and momentum and get some points. Taking 2h goal because Alaves is solid defensively, and will take a hot minute to break down, but this could be a breakout game for the hosts and love hitting the 2h goal angle.

Article Writeup:

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs. MANCHESTER CITY | 1/26 | 3 p.m. ET
Picks:

  • Over 1.5 goals Second Half -135 (one unit)
  • Man City To Win and Both Teams To Score: Yes +190 (half unit)

The fourth round of the FA Cup brings the biggest match of the competition so far. Pep Guardiola's Citizens will visit Ange Postecoglou and his battered Spurs in a match between two top five clubs. With 32 teams left in the Cup, this is easily the most exciting draw out of the lot. And with both teams fancying themselves a bit of silverware, this is a match that should feature the best possible lineups and the most effort available.

Manchester City - the Champions of Europe, the Treble winners, the most consistent team in Europe - haven't been as great this season. Don't get me wrong; this is still an insanely talented club that can beat the best teams in the world. But City have hit some early struggles, as transfers, drama off the pitch and injuries have hurt this side. They're still second in the English Premier League, sitting five points behind Liverpool with a game in hand, and they made easy work of their opening Champions League group stage. But something has been off for Guardiola's side. Most noticeably Kevin De Bruyne, the heart and soul of the club, missed a good portion of matches due to injury and is now slowly working back into the lineup. Even the Cyborg himself, Erling Haaland, missed a few matches with injury. While City have had their troubles this season, this is a club that is coming together at the perfect time. While repeating a treble seems audacious, it remains a possibility for the Citizens, but they'll need to beat a Spurs side that has given them trouble in the past.

Spurs came out the gates swinging under Postecoglou, who came from Celtic, but they were soon rattled with injury and international duty. The club sold Harry Kane to Bayern Munich last transfer window, lost James Maddison to injury recently and will be without the services of their titanic goal scorer Son Hueng-Min, who is away on international duty with South Korea in the AFC Asian Cup. This is a side that is battered and bruised, but doing its best to push forward. They even picked up Timo Werner from the Bundesliga in January to help bolster their front line. While taking down Manchester City is a tall task for any club, I expect Spurs to give them hell on the pitch, in what should be a feisty, chippy and exhausting match for both sides.
