2024 Patreon Plans, Updates and Patch Notes + Thank You (Patreon)

Hey gang! 

Well pretty much the worst way to end the month with a crap weekend and all 3 rungs of the ladder missing! Time to focus on the new year, improving this patreon, improving transparency, and making this our most consistent year yet! 

I want to say thank you for everything! I know more than most how stressful this industry, and doing anything involved with money can be. Besides a couple bad apples, the vast majority of you have been incredible, win or lose to me this season and I'm beyond grateful for your support. This Patreon has turned from a little side hustle to a massive part of my life and I want to start treating it as such. Love y'all and thank you again for making this dream a reality for me! Now let's talk business. 

Here's what you can expect in the new year. This will be the template I'm following and plan on posting 365 days next year, using this method. My goal is to this year treat Patreon as my full time job, rather than a "side hustle". I want to provide content, picks and insight that makes it worth your time and money no matter what the outcome of the games.  Let's break all the pieces down! 

2024 Patreon Master Plan:

1. Play Consolidation:

Whether a play is on twitter, discord, instagram, snapchat, etc. The play will also be posted on Patreon. Of course I love the support on all platforms, but I know that consuming all my content isn't possible for everyone! So - all content will be consolidated to Patreon.

2. Early Posting:

One of my favorite perks of the Patreon is still early posting! I want to keep the same strategy of posting at 9pm ET the day before. I'll do my best to do this consistently or at the very least I'm going to give y'all updates if I need to wait till the following morning due to travel, work, etc...

The main goal of this is to give people plenty of time to get bets in regardless of location, and also to potentially beat lines! 

3. Score Predictions / Play Write-Ups:

We've been doing this for the last month and I'm a big fan. I'll include a score prediction and 1-2 paragraphs explaining my reasoning for taking each play. Just going to make this the standard layout for the new year. I always love seeing y'all make your own bets based on the information, and cashing things even if I don't! 

4. Daily POTD Change:

One thing I'm going to do every single day next year is have a "POTD" highlighted. I'm not really a person who likes betting multiple units, so even my POTD will be a 1u play for me moving forward, but every day I'm going to plan on posting one play as my favorite- and I'll track the record of that one play for the year! You can always put more than 1u if you want on it, but I like having one play designated as my favorite, especially for those that don't like to tail every play but just want to know where my mind is at! 

5. **Unit Tracking**:

I will be the first to admit I've been pretty rough when it comes to tracking plays, but it's important to me to foster a community of transparency, so in the new year I'll be tracking my units every single day and will provide weekly updates to everyone in Patreon. The "Weekly Recap" Will be posted every Sunday night starting in the new year! Whether we have a -20u week or a +20u week, I'm going to let everyone know and we won't hide from the results!

6. "Bonus Plays":

We all know every day is different in the footy world. There are going to be some days where there's only two games worth playing. If that's the case I do prioritize free plays first. It's a little backwards but It's always been what I've done. So if there's not a ton of matches on we might not have bonus plays, however, on busy slate days, I'll always include Patreon specific bonus plays if possible, just for this community! I'll start marking those plays as such as well! 

7. Return of Standard Units:

Starting in the new year I'll be back to 1u plays across the board with the exception of .5u plays. I did slow down a bit as we hit some bumpy patches this month but I'm ready to get back to normal! I am a risk bettor not to win. So for me, 1u is currently $25. I bet $25 on a play if it's +100 or -150, just always the same for me! The tracking will reflect that.
