8/6 afternoon recap + 8/7 Golden Slate (Patreon)

I know VAR makes the right calls, but it called back a goal for Coritiba, called back a red card for Brag and called back a pen for Coritiba. That stings.

0-1-1 for the afternoon games.

Looking at tomorrow! We have a weirdly good slate! I'm only on two games but they're both gold for me!  Nothing but 1.5u gold plays for me tomorrow! 

Gold Play #1

Varbergs BoiS v Mjällby AIF. Mjallby DNB. -125. Swedish Allsvenskan. 1pm ET 

- Vargerbs came off of what was probably the shocker of the season as they beat down Halmstad 5-0. It was a weird game that I had to go back and watch the highlights for because I was so confused. It's an easy cop out to say something was a "fluke" but it almost looked like the Halmstads defense and keeper were purposely trying to lose LOL. Meanwhile, Varbergs have 2 wins this season and are yet to win at home. I'm not backing them in any capacity especially against a Mjallby side who has won 3 of their last 4 on the road. I think this line should be closer to -160 so I'm grabbing it now! 

Gold Play #2

Puszcza Niepołomice v FKS Stal Mielec. BTTS -125. 1pm ET. Poland.

- Newly promoted Puszcza side joined the Ekstraklasa like a bat out of hell, with the full intention being they are going to fight no matter what. Their first two games in the top flight have seen 2 losses but 10 goals in those two games, with BTTS hitting in both and obviously the over (I love over 2.5 goals here too). Meanwhile Stal is a defensive side but with the way Puszcza plays I don't think it matters. They can be down 4-0 and they still fight like they have a chance to win which I love in any club!
