The Europa Conference Final is here, with Serie A side Fiorentina taking on Premier League side West Ham. Both teams had mediocre seasons in their respective leagues, so the chance to bring home some silverware will be a big deal for each.

While the Europa Conference is not necessarily the biggest or most important trophy of the year, expect both sides to be out for blood in this one. Neither team is defensive-minded, so even though this is a final which often is low-scoring, there should be plenty of offense in this one.

West Ham Form and Motivation

It's not a secret that West Ham's manager might have a bit more motivation than most in a game like this. After a shambolic domestic season in which West Ham finished 14th on the table and genuinely were a part of the relegation conversation for much of the season, the owners were not at all happy.

Manager David Moyes has been told that for the betterment of his career, it's very, very important that West Ham bring home the trophy. Winning this competition could be the difference between Moyes returning or not next season. That being said, you know he'll do everything in his power to have his team motivated and ready for war when it takes the pitch against Fiorentina.

Fiorentina Form

Fiorentina's season ended with disappointment. After a hard-fought campaign, they finished just outside of the top seven in Serie A, missing out on the European competition qualification for next season. Over 38 games, they finished with 53 points - just three beneath Juventus for seventh.

While the season didn't end the way the team wanted, the team was in aggressively good form to end the campaign and will look to grab this last piece of silverware before a much-deserved break. One thing we love about Fiorentina is that they are a goal-scoring machine.

With 53 goals scored and 43 conceded over the course of the season, this is a team that prioritizes attack over everything and doesn't put a ton of emphasis on solid defense. With Arthur Cabral leading the charge and Fiorentina owning an abysmal back line, I expect a very entertaining matchup.
