1-2 today:

Mbappe ATGS❌

Cvancara ATGS ❌

Netherlands ✔️

The Netherlands game was an absolute riot. 50 shots and only 3 goals is tough LOL.

I don't hate a Pepi goal for USA but nothing official!

Here's what I'm on tomorrow!

Switzerland v Israel. Switzerland 1h ML -110. (MGM). 2:45pm ET. Euros

Scotland v Spain. Spain over 1.5 goals TT. -120. (FD). 2:45pm ET. Euros **I do think BTTS and over 2.5 hit as well but 1.5 TT is my favorite**

Reasoning:

Switzerland Thoughts:

We saw today that low-scoring affairs on the second game traveling could be more standard. I think Switzerland as a whole outclass Israel and have the capabilities to put in 2-4 goals here, after they just obliterated Romania 5-0, but Switz could also slow things down here and use a match against an Iffy Israel side for more of a rest. I see this game with Switzerland going up early then just controlling defensively as they've learned to do in recent form.  A nice 1-0/2-0 at halftime which then could be the final score as well, which makes me like the 1h ML for the most value.

Scotland v Spain Thoughts:

I actually did an article write-up for this so I'm going to post that! The write-up includes 4 picks that I provided including some dumb ATGS fun ones - so feel free to sprinkle those if you'd like too! but the 1.5TT would be the one I love the most!

SPAIN vs. SCOTLAND | 3/28 | 2:45 p.m. ET

Picks:

  • Spain Over 1.5 goals  -120 (1 unit)
  • Both teams to score  +100 (1 unit)
  • Alvaro Morata anytime goal scorer  +150 (0.5 units)
  • Scott McTominay anytime goal scorer  +850 (0.5 units)

Scotland, who are coming off a 3-0 win against Cyprus, will be hosting a Spain side that recorded a 3-0 triumph over Norway last time out. The Scottish found themselves in a tricky matchup in which they were the heavy favorites, but they only led 1-0 in the 87th minute before some heroics from midfielder Scott McTominay, who came off the bench and scored two late goals.

Spain's contest was almost a mirror image as they were up 1-0 in the 83rd minute when a pair of goals from Joselu off the bench gave them the clean victory. Both teams will be looking to keep the momentum flowing in an important matchup between two of the better sides in Group A.

Spain Brings the Pain

Full disclosure: Spain are a difficult team to watch if you like fast and offensively aggressive ball. The Spaniards love something known as "Tiki Taka" ball, which is a style that calls for the team to dominates possession, constantly passes back and wins games 1-0 while having the ball 90% of the time. It's the art of dominating possession and frustrating your opponent with tiny and precise touches.

Spain are great at this, but they also find themselves randomly getting into slugfests when they get frustrated, like they did in their 7-0 rout of Costa Rica in the World Cup and their 2-2 Nations League match against the Czech Republic last year. While the Spaniards surely will dominate possession once more this game, I think a proud and physical Scottish outfit will give them some trouble and won't allow them to play for a low-scoring win.

SCOOOOOOTLANNNNND!!

I'm biased here. Spain are the better team, but Scotland are the club I personally like much more here. I don't think they'll win, but this is a side managed by Steve Clark that is just fun to watch. It's a side that understands it often is the underdog and plays with a chip on its shoulder.

Scotland also is a side that doesn't shy away from high-scoring affairs. Over 2.5 goals has hit in eight of their 10 matches during international play, as has their 1.5 total goals. With the likes of QPR striker Lyndon Dykes up top and Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay playing behind, this is a team that can do some damage on the final third.

The Scottish also could go down 2-0 and keep attacking the exact same way they had been. They just go for it.
