• Score Prediction. 1-1/2-1 Sturm Graz

  • Thoughts:

    • Sturm Graz shouldn't be +145 on the ML here let me just say that. Rapid is a fine side but are playing for draws against better clubs, which is why we've seen only 1 win in their last 5. Sturm Graz have picked up 4/5 wins in their 5 playoff matches, with their only loss being to giants Salzburg. These two clubs just played last week and it was close. I watched it and thought Graz had a bad match and still won 1-0. Rapid will be desperate to win here but so are Sturm who are still fighting for the title.

Crystal Palace v Newcastle. Crystal Palace over 1.5 TT +115. 3pm ET. EPL

• Score Prediction. 2-2/2-3 Newcastle 

  • Thoughts:

    • I seriously doubt we get another 5-2 thriller from Palace like we saw against West Ham, but I'm not going to sit here and pretend like it's not impressive Palace have scored in their 12/13 matches. Coming off back to back wins against freaking Liverpool and West Ham, this is a team that pretty much has no reason not to just say F it and go for goals. They can't get relegated, they can't get into a European spot, not it's about getting in good practice and giving your supporters a show. Meanwhile, Newcastle are in do or die time right now. 10 points behind Spurs, losing games isn't an option anymore if they want a European spot. 2 games in hand over Villa and Arsenal and 1 in hand over Liverpool. I expect offense from both sides.

Manchester United v Sheffield United. Sheffield over 1.5 TT +240. EPL. 3pm ET

• Score Prediction. 2-2/ 3-2 Man U.

  • Thoughts:

    • This is a very weird bet. It's +240 for a reason, and I know Man U supporters won't like this. I know Sheffield is awful, have nothing to really play for, probably getting relegated. but this Man U team is hemorrhaging goals right now and have the worst defense on shots allowed in the last two months. They're also going to be exhausted after having to play Coventry to PKS. They've conceded 2+ goals in 4 straight across all comps and in 7 of their last 10. If you want a safer bet take BTTS + Over 2.5 here sitting near even money, but I really feel good here. Sheffield have 0 pressure, go out and have fun basically LOL. But still in recent months they scored 2 against Chelsea, 3 against Fulham, 2 against Bournemouth, 1 against Liverpool, two against Palace and Brighton back in January. This is a team that can surprisingly put up goals, and I don't trust this Man U side right now, not at all. They should still win, but Sheffield will give them hell today.

Libertad Asuncion v River Plate. BTTS -125. Copa Libertadores. 8:30pm ET. 

• Score Prediction. 2-1 River Plate

  • Thoughts:

    • The two best clubs not only in Group H but two of the bigger clubs in Libertadores clashing should always make for a fun time. River Plate started of 2-0 in their matches in this competition winning 4-0 combined while Libertad is 1-0-1 with a combined score of 3-2. If River Plate was at home I wouldn't' take this bet, but Libertad at home is good enough to score against anyone. They've scored in 9 of their last 10 matches at home and have done well as always leading Division Profesional with 26 goals scored in 14 matches. This is surprisingly the match I'm most looking forward to today!
