Its the tiny, subtle imperfections that quietly show how these characters are different. This is a great example of character design.

Notice how 2 of the ghosts are primary colors but 1 isn't. Could it be that the green one was ment to be yellow but his mother drank during the pregnancy and he took genes from the blue one as a result. That's just a theory...
