Hello All!

So they go to Kreese for help. He thinks he's gonna get a good lawyer, instead he gets a real FU. The Cobra Kai way is getting more and more intense and truly tough for the students. Kenny is looking less like himself by the day and with Terry's hooks in him, it's gonna be rough. Looks like Tory & Devon are growing closer which is nice. Hopefully they help each other through this!

This is obviously a filler episode, but it's a great one. You're giving me a Chozen-centric ep? *Ella hug* The training sequence parts were so good, particularly at the end with Chozen's smile after capitulating as he realized he had successfully taught the kids the point of the lesson. It makes your heart swell. Turning to the secondary training scenes with Sensei Da-Eun, she signed on the line and then underlined it twice as the Dragon Lady. I have two thoughts on this with the first being I really liked when Tory, always at odds with Devon, jumped in to protect her and they smiled and became friends (in a way, we'll see how it develops). The second has two reactions: When Kenny finally confronted Kyler and basically bitch-slapped him multiple times, I cheered. But on the flip side, I've always found it a reach for Kenny to become uber-karate kid in so short a time. To me it's pretty implausible and relies on the viewers to suspend disbelief (imo). Lastly, can we talk about the (sort of) continuity error? Near the end of the episode we had a flashback to young Kreese and Silver in South Korea in 1980. Um. I know that the character was born in 1946, so he would've been 34-35 in 1980, but in The Karate Kid four years later he looks that different? To be fair the actor, Martin Kove, was born in 1945-46 so it is accurate for the timeline, but I think some CGI on Kove to make him look younger would have been a better option. Remember that in the last episode they used CGI on an actor to make young Johnny and it was amazing. Thanks once again for the shoutout, it always makes me smile wide. See you tomorrow Dak!
