Hello All!

More details about Principle Wood & the potentials in this one. The main aspect was The First and what Buffy could have potentially done to gain power to help fight the evil. The bothersome part for me was the lack of information prior to Buffy making her decision to turn down the power. Let me know your thoughts on this. Looking forward to the next one.

I agree. Even though I like season 7 as a whole. I tend to always skip like episodes 8 through this one haha. From here on out I think you'll be happy :)

This episode is titled "Get It Done"- but what is "It", exactly? One interpretation is simply getting Buffy back from the Shadow Men realm. On another level, I think it's referring to every one tapping into their own unique source of strength and power, and also facing their personal fears in the process. Buffy is scared and overwhelmed and angry, but when facing the Shadow Men she realizes that her true source of power lies within herself and trusting her gut. Ever since Spike got his soul, he has been afraid to engage the violent fighter that lies within him but now understands he needs to embrace that side of him to be the warrior he needs to be in this battle. Likewise, Willow has been hesitant to tap into her very powerful wiccan energy but when faced with having to save Buffy and bring her back, she digs deep to overcome this fear and comes out stronger for it. Even though Anya is no longer an 1140-year-old demon, she still posesses quite a. bit of magical power and knowledge and she taps into these strengths as well (and yes, Willow also taps into this strength). Finally, special shout-out to Dawn, who has none of these supernatural powers but has the brains to translate ancient Sumerian and the people skills to get "frenemies" Anya and Willow to work together!
