The secret is OUT! I hope Malia handles this well & that she has support around her to explain a few things! The outbreak was kinda wild, it was nice how it brought people together in a strange way though. No surprise here but I do feel for Lydia still, no one understands Banshees including herself, yet she has the weight of figuring everything out constantly.

Malia is hilarious in these moments when she is so blunt and disregards everyone else. Stiles always saying "it's progress" kills me lol. Love them two together knew you would like her. Agree what you are saying about Kira and Scott's relationship taking a back seat compared to with Alison. Definitely less teen romance cringe compared to the early seasons. And yeah the virus was a variant of canine distemper, so its only meant to kill wolves. It might effect humans briefly but doesn't kill them.

I liked this one a lot better than the last one. While you're right it maybe didn't move the overall season-level plot forward that much, the plot of the episode felt a lot more focused than the last one. And I agree it hit home a little more today than it did when it came out. I love the Stiles-Malia relationship, and I think they're great for each other. But yeah, he shouldn't have concealed that from her. It's understandable that she feels betrayed. In line with what you were saying about the sheriff and Melissa, I've brought this up before but this is a good episode that illustrates what I mean about the adults being treated as capable, mature, and competent, as opposed to bumbling, clueless, or absent as they might be in other teen-focused shows and movies. Even when the sheriff IS clueless, as you pointed out he admits it and seeks help and knowledge. Can't argue about the season feeling slower than previous ones. It definitely does. Slower, and a bit less focused and more meandering story-wise. I was going to write something about my feelings about this season, but I think I'll hold off until you've finished it. I wouldn't drop any spoilers in any case, but I don't want to color your judgment either. Anyway, this was fun, on to the next one!
