Hello All!

This was heart breaking to watch, that scene of Miguel and Johnny in the hospital OUCH! It was surprising to see some of Kreese's past & to see him helping Tory. I do think he believes his intentions are pure, I just worry that Tory will be moulded into someone she wont be proud to be. With her being in such a vulnerable place anyway, I don't wanna see her being taken for granted.

Now that we have the aftermath episode behind us, we can start advancing the story to its next level. The flashback to Kreese's past was excellent, and I thought the a**hole (are we allowed to swear uncensored?) was Kreese too, Dak. It was nice getting an insight into Tory's home life and the struggles she's facing taking care of her sick mom, paying the rent, staying out of trouble to avoid being arrested, etc. Now the creep apartment manager is threatening to evict them unless she gives him some action? Dude, she's a teenager. I love Tory and I think a lot of viewers do, because she was pushed quickly into a main role of the younger crowd. Obviously with the introduction of Robbie, they needed another Sam character to even out the two main teen relationships. When Johnny and Daniel (yeah, I put Johnny first, bro) went to the prison to grill the two jerks about Robbie, you questioned why Johnny wasn't being arrested for slapping d*ck #1 about. 18 U.S. Code § 3050 gives correctional officers the powers to arrest, but it only mentions prisoners and on prison land, so I don't think they have the authority to arrest civilians, as they aren't actual police officers. Also, they know what smarmy scumbags those two are so they ''accidentally'' didn't see what happened. Probably the most exciting part of the episode was the car chase and eventual fight with Johnny and Daniel (Johnny first always, nyah nyah) versus the car thief gang. I think the boss of the gang was in ''Breaking Bad'', but I might be mistaken. I loved the juxtaposition of Kreese beating up the dirtbags in the '60s and Kreese threatening the dirtbag creep in modern times because both were him coming to the aid of vulnerable girls being abused (physically/psychologically). I think I might have mentioned this before, but bully the bullies; they deserve it. That being said, threatening to cut off a finger with a cigar cutter is just a wee (NOT WEE AT ALL) bit more elevated than simply knocking them out. After dinner mints (I'm so cringey): Oh Dak, you missed a great line that Johnny said to his wife at the rehab place, "Bullshit, I know when you're faking." 🤭 I'm convinced that the writers are purposely making Daniel somewhat of a villain and this might lead into a bigger story arc about redemption and reconciliation. Love the braids, Dak, see you next time!

Love the direction the show is taking with flashbacks and more back story for the characters. I think that everybody went down the red herring of the letterman jacket wearing character was Kreese. You just cannot see how Kreese was ever the stand up guy from how his character has been portrayed until now. I hope like Ian has said you are starting to like or care about the struggles Tory has been going through while having the deal with in her eyes “Rich Kid Sam”. Taking Miguel from her i.e the kiss. As Miguel might of been the only outlet she had to act like a proper teenager getting to go on dates and socialize. Love your reaction to this show as always. Hope your are surviving the heatwave here in the UK. Until the next reaction episode.
