IT JUST GETS BETTER! Seeing Renard all heart eyes over his baby warms my heart! I got so nervous in this one though! Adalind is FUMING with Renard right now. I fear for how she's gonna handle this. I really like seeing Kelly & I wanna see more of her so badly but I worry she will disappear for a significant amount of time again now.

Seriously if you haven't already seen the movie Scarface (with Al Pacino), you so need to. Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio (Kelly Burkhardt) is brilliant in it, and it also has Harris Yulin (Quentin Travers from Buffy) playing a relatively small but so well acted part.

B'Finger on the trigger?' Yeah, that was a really big error because anyone in the firearms world, but especially a police captain, knows proper trigger discipline. Weird thing to lead off with, but it bothered me. I love the episodes when Mama Grimm shows up. She's so cool and intimidating. The first time I saw Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio was in 'The Abyss' back in 1989. You were probably a baby back then. I never understood why her career never really took off. She's a great actress, but only has 30 something roles. The last thing I saw her in was 'Blindspot', which ended in 2020. Don't remember much about it, but there was a girl with a bunch of tattoos. Ashley Johnson was in it too (voice of Ellie from 'The Last of Us'). I almost didn't recognize C. Thomas Howell. I really expected him to take off because he had such a great start in the business. He's been in over 200 shows and movies, but I only remember him during his really strong era which, in my opinion, was 1983-1986. I did see him in a few episodes of 'Bosch' a few years back. That phone call scene is my pick for probably the best scene in this episode. Number one thing that bugged me was the trigger discipline, as I said earlier. Number two is NO COASTER?!? Gonna ruin the furniture. Even though Grimm aired years after Buffy and Angel ended, I always kind of included Grimm in the Buffyverse. Of course then every time NotWesley shows up, it ruins it. Hate/Like his character though. Adalind finding out Renard took her baby crushed me. Renard is another Like/Dislike character for me, and this episode falls in the latter category. That scene where she runs out into the street desperate to find her baby and then woges out and screams I too welled up and then got chills down my spine when the baby looked at NotWesley and basically said, 'Nah, bruh, you f'ed up.' Hooray, our people got the scary demon bairn back! Thanks Dak! p.s. I'm a bit of a Grammar Nazi, but I use apostrophes in place of quotation marks because, at least for me, quotation marks don't show correctly in comments on Patreon.
