Hello All!

Cannibals! There's always cannibals...smh. I found myself questioning this guy David which is sign of a good actor and good writers - he wasn't 1 dimensional which I liked. I hated him for the things he did, especially to Ellie! Utter psycho! The worst kind of person, using faith to manipulate those that are vulnerable. I do wonder what will happen to the others that are left behind now & if we will see anyone from that group again.

"Have ya not got your *smaller gun* with you as well." In a country (the US) that has an average of 12 guns *per person* (man, woman, and child) in private hands, hearing you refer to her pistol as her "smaller gun" made me giggle.

Another great episode, really enjoyed it. It's not only on par with 1x05 ("Endure and Survive"), but slightly better in my opinion. Similar to 1x03, I had read negative comments about this episode that David is turned into a Christian leading a group of people that are, for the most part, unwitting cannibals. In the game, David and his group were straight-up cannibals and there was no religious aspect, nor a Woodbury-esque setting. Now, based on David's sway with his "flock", one could make the argument that it seems to imply religion is used to control people (which I absolutely believe that's what the writers intended, even giving characters names that are books of the Bible), but that theory falls apart due to the fact he isn't an actual Christian and doesn't even believe in God. But David certainly has a god complex and is a narcissistic, mentally abusive control freak, rapist, pedophile/hebephile. Funny how it's always Christianity that's the target though. That final scene of Joel and Ellie reuniting made me tear up too, Dak. My final thoughts on this episode: 1. Joel needs to teach Ellie to always shoot center mass, not "between the eyes". 2. The knife in the knee scene really triggered the nerve pain in my leg. 3. Hard C is underrated. 4. Ellie's favorite number appears to be 22. My biggest complaint about the series is that there is a serious lack of infected. Thanks Dak! You're incomparable!
