Hello All!

A healer! This would be an incredible gift but there's always a downside right?! Good twist with who was after him as well. I liked the Ali aspect of this episode, not her being on the run of course! But more so seeing Juliet's friends and opening the discussion of her relationships being Wessen! 

Also sorry about the subtitles not being great in this one! My bad, I will be more prepared for next ep.

Did you forget that the Pilot started out with a woman in a red hoody going for a run through the woods? 😉 I'm guessing you don't want to pre-watch an episode, to check subtitles, so you can have a genuine, first-time reaction. Your curiosity in whether Wesen have been in these characters lives for longer than they even realized was also answered last season. Hank's long time, since high school, good friend turned out to be a Coyotl who had come to him for help when his daughter was kidnapped and they helped with that in episode 3. At the end of that episode Hank pretty much made it clear that it didn't change the relationship between him and his friend after finding out he was a Coyotl. I imagine since there is no way to know without being a Grimm unless Wesen want you to know, which for their own safety and even culture they do not, this is the case for everyone. I don't know if the Wesen book you have explains it or not, but basicaly how the Koschie works both in healing and damaging is through radiation. Clearly the Koschie can direct the radiation quite precisely which is immortant, as radiation will damage all DNA including the beneficial immune system of the body and beneficial bacteria which is why modern medicine is shifting to more precision proton therapy for cancer as it can just target the cancer vs traditional photon therapy which has a larger area affect which includes healthy tissue. We know radiation can kill cancer, bacteria, and even viruses so that is no doubt the key to the healing. The limitations are clear with this in that disease, poison, and toxins can be healed, but a physical issues not caused by those things can not be healed by the Koschie. So, he isn't going to be able to regrow your lost arm or fix macular degeneration/damaged blindness.
