Hello All!

OMG this episode was HUGE! My heart broke at the reaction to the news of Allison's Mum. Obviously wasn't her biggest fan but so hard to see her family mourn her. I worry how this will effect Allison moving forward. I dont want Matt to be the controller tbh, he is just a kid after all but I will see what happens. Poor Lydia getting manipulated too! This season is getting tense!

BOOM finally sat down and caught up! Okay, go through the reveals: - Matt is the Kanima controller - Peter is back First things first, loving the reactions as always they are amazing. now, Peter is one of my favourites in this series Ian is so amazing at playing that role he is just a spectacle to behold also. But this story is amazing and season two as a whole id say is up there with the most intricate plots. I think season 2/3 are seasons where (this isn't a spoiler fyi) each character is highlighted the best and it is very refreshing compared to other shows where the characters are sometimes over shadowed or forgotten I think TW has an amazing team that makes sure even if a character is on screen for 15 seconds, its quality, its deep or its memorable. Matt being the Kanima controller is an amazing reveal because you genuinely do not expect him like sometimes they tease you but with Matt it was just never ever pointed towards. You can never trust TW lol. But his story is amazing and the next three eps gives us so much info in relation to the entire story it'll give you a headache (but the good kind, kinda like reading a book in a day). The fears in this ep, to me, when I watched it. It was their insecurities, Alison that she wasn't good enough, Stiles still blames himself for his Mother, Scott thinking Jackson is still better for him than Alison even when Jackson is a monster because that's all Scotts sees himself as and then Jackson being ashamed to be adopted and feeling like he has no identity which was shown in the faceless scene. (I don't know if that is why or if this is right that was just my interpretation of it). I will say that the Anchor idea is one of my favourites I think. Like every wolf having their own tether to their humanity, and it can be anything as long as it is strong. But I love how Dereks is his rage but in a way he is envious of Scott. I think it causes great strain to ground himself with rage, that he is envious that if he could ground himself with love he would feel so much more free. I must ask, have you got any ships around. There's a big one in the fandom but I don't want to say incase it is classed as a spoiler. So let me know? I am so excited for season 3, it is renowned in the TW fandom so just look forward to that. The acting only gets better, all of the cast were so young that you get to see them not only mature but develop as actors. I always like to say TW was Dylans first role and he took to it like nothing. Alison is an amazing actress, and her crying scenes are always phenomenal, she just is so good at getting you. Dylan has the same talent, obviously the scenes were very different, but they fit their character, Alison breaking down because her Mam died, her trying to talk herself that it was a training session the disbelief amazing. Then Dylan, his fear, the genuine sadness but fear in his eyes not of his dad but of what his dad thinks. I don't think he has ever been scared of Sherif Stilinski but I do think he has created that narrative in his head and made himself think that his dad thinks like this. I also think that that idea leads well into Stiles ADHD so it fits with his character very well. Dylans ability to hold the tears in his eyes, because he's a teenager and doesn't want anyone to see him cry, by he is so sad he can't help it. Just amazing. Also, little shout out to JR who plays Chris the suicide scene always gets me, but the one thing that makes it so much worse is his little sob he does, its not dramatic, its not eccentric its just enough that it feels real and he really ties that scene together.
