Wesley had me chuckling in this one! He also surprised me a couple times. I think the main point of this episode is to emphasise the struggles that Angel faces on a daily basis & I feel it was successful in that tbh. I was happy that the Dad got what he deserved too, what a tosser!

This is a fun one. It doesn't move the story much but we do get some good character stuff for Wesley and Angel.

How was Angel able to enter Bryce's house without apparently being invited in? This was kind of set up in Rm w/a Vu when Angel was able to enter Cordelia's new place on the basis that she had previously told him he would also be welcome when she found a place. Here we'll have to assume that Bryce's minion thinking he was inviting Angel in when he invited Wesley was sufficient. Re your speculation on Angel's curse. He didn't start losing his soul when he slept with Buffy at the point of orgasm. It was some time later - in the post-coital glow you might say. The curse talks about true happiness. Pleasure is a physical response; happiness is an emotion.
