Bethany seems interesting & I wanna see her again TBH. I liked her gift and that she has an interesting backstory. I found the actress great too. Was great seeing her stand up to her Dad & Wolfram & Hart too! The Darla plot continues & I can't help but wonder why Angel isn't talking to the others about what is happening!

When Cordelia was reacting to her vision you said, "How does she act those scenes?" I remembered something I found out about Charisma Carpenter. She knows how scared the girl is on a very personal level because when she was only 21 she and her two friends were attacked. She was forced to tie up her two male friends so her attacker could sexually assault her. Both her friends were shot, and the attacker ran when he was shot in the hand. He was later prosecuted and sentenced to 56 years in prison. You can see the story reenacted on a show called Surviving Evil, which is hosted by Charisma Carpenter. You can look it up on IMDB to find where you can watch it. She says she had lots of therapy and self-care as well as support from family & friends. I can definitely see her empathy coming through in her acting when doing scenes like this. I just love her!

I think it is less of Cordelia being simply a protective friend or romantic interest to Angel and more that she is trying to protect 'everyone', because if Angel has a night of happiness that means they all will most likely have their throats ripped out and she has already seen that play out. I think a more interesting plotline is Darla, she is clearly the protagonist now and misunderstood, much like Homelander.
