Hello you sexy deviants,

So I did a story prologue post here that mentioned the protagonist "unearths a significant artefact" let me introduce you to that significant artefact - The Ethereal Hammer

The Ethereal Hammer will serve multiple purposes, both in combat & out of combat.

Out of Combat:
One aspect of any RPG is how do you map out the world, put limitations where need be - i.e (not progressing to certain areas without completing other aspects) The way I intend to do this is a very standard unlocking of powers as you progress the story.

You wont be able to progress to certain areas without the help of certain magical/elemental abilities. This mystical hammer will become your solution.

You may have also noticed the colours are very similar to that of "The Ethereal Lady" That is because, her essence lives inside of the hammer. She will act as a guide a point of help on your Journey - there will be lewd aspects for the Ethereal Lady which I will explain later ;)
Combat:

I want to ensure you as the protagonist have unique and special abilities, and are set apart from the maidens. So it will be this "Hammer" that allows for cool unique abilities.

This is a super cool addition! It's putting my mind into that of metroidvanias which I think will be a fun addition! Having guidance in a game like this, set areas to explore until the player is ready is great. I enjoy that this will also add a common thru-line for all of the players regardless of what their gameplay styles end up looking like, everyone will have some similar point of reference. It's nice that you're trying to set the MC apart from Maidens, I think it'll be nice to be something unique in this world of unique concepts and archetypes. Can't wait to see more lore about the Hammer and the Lady, loved what we've gotten so far!
