One option to get a discount when you shop will be to attempt "bartering" if you succeed there will be a temporary discount applied to goods. However, if you fail the Merchant will be displeased and add a "dissatisfaction tax" temporarily

So for this you will need to "complete" in order to get the benefit, if you don't, the merchant will be left dissatisfied for a period of time you will have to pay a penalty

I think the closer to you get to the Finish Line the more the penalty will be if you fail.

Will you be able to attempt multiple tries for "bartering". And if you fail multiple times will it stack? Alternatively if you fail once and pass the second time will it negate each other out?

So once you attempt there will be a cooldown period before you can barter again (will need to figure that out)
