Heya everyone! Vilsa here with more lewds this week! Mainly for RaR.



New Overworld Sprite

Right now we're experimenting with new things to replace our old 48x48 overworld sprites. We're hoping to go with a skeletal animation rather than frame by frame pixel art. This would mean that we'd be able to make more animations than just a simple 3 frame walking anim, and we wouldn't have to redraw every single clothing layer for any little animation we want to add (we'll only have to draw a clothing layer 3 times, one each for up, down, and side). Not to mention it'd make things look a ton more polished in general with smooth animations. We'll get back to you later when we've gone through the R&D for it, but this is just an early concept of what we're hoping for.


New Content

So it may look like this month won't bring another story update like we had hoped, but I'll still be working on it once I'm back from my little family outing (I'll be back late tomorrow). Even though I'll be working hard on it, the content probably stiiill won't be ready in time because of all the lost time the big visual Unity bug took from us, and this little 'vacation' of mine. There'll of course still be little QoL updates and bugfixes, but the juicy story content probably won't make it in time.

However, bear is still creating new scenes for the bar and now the motel, and damn they are really spicy. I'm not biased! I don't wanna spoil it too much, but Jenna seems to really be enjoying her time as a 'waitress'.


I'll let Thao's hard work speak for itself. Almost done with the CGs, then it's time to implement them and polish up the UI!


And here's a WIP of the second last CG we'll have.

Ohhh liking the direction of the sprites, skeletal mesh will indeed give alot of flexibility (if done right) so good luck!

Something I noticed on the Wildfire fight, if you get too far up or down from Wildfire, you can't really see where she is, or scroll on the map to hit her, which makes it a bit difficult trying to position to get her to the barrels. Doable, but a bit difficult.
