Dev Update - June 6th, 2018 (Patreon)

Heya everyone! Vilsa here with another nice little Development Update for the week.

Releases

This week we managed to put up not one, but two updates to you guys (0.3.0 & 0.3.1) with the latter being a patch update packed full of fixes. We're really happy with the turn around on the bug fixes on this development cycle, and we're hoping that we don't find any significant issues when we go public with the new release. We've been taking a short much needed break after 0.3.1, but we're starting to gear up pre-production and then production for 0.4.0 (the combat update).

Dialogue Sprites

We also tried something a little new this week, we're commissioning a wonderful artist named Rated Ehcs to do dialogue sprites for our characters. So far we've got Jewel done, and we're incredibly happy with the results. 

We'll be getting Jenna redone to make sure she and Jewel fit together nicely when on the screen at the same time during dialogue. Don't worry though! You'll still be getting those amazing Gear CGs.

 It's because of the amazing support from you guys that we're able to up the quality of the game through sprites that otherwise wouldn't be there (we weren't exactly planning to have dialogue sprites for our characters at least for a long time). Check out Rated Ehcs here, she does commissions!

Goal

Speaking of amazing support, we recently passed our 2k goal to put a clothing shop in Carceburg. We'll be putting both this and the outfit into the game at the same time. It's really crazy to see everyone enjoying the game that we're been pouring our heart and soul into, and the community that has formed around the game on our Discord has been so awesome. You have all been a HUGE morale boost for us, and we're going to keep doing our best to make sure the game continues to be worthy of your love.
