Hey everyone! Vilsa here with another Development Update for the week!


Alcohol

We've made a ton of progress on the implementation of alcohol into the game. This work has advanced a lot of our systems since we've been using the effects of alcohol as a test case for pushing forward our system for status effects. We're now able to buy alcohol from the bartender for money, consume the alcohol item to apply the drunk status effect to you, have that drunk status add visual effects, and change how the affected character speaks in dialogue. We've also put together a scene that can only be accessed if you're drunk. It may seem like a little much just for alcohol effects, but the work we've done on this has really helped us put together logic that we're going to use in other status effects and currency trading.

In the future we're hoping to put together an actual shopping interface for buying items from merchants like the bartender, but for our current needs, we're just going to stick with this basic dialogue implementation since we only have one item to buy.

Here's an example of how dialogue gets slurred when you're drunk.

Here is some screenshots of the gloryhole scene which can only be accessed while drunk in the washroom of the bar.


Shower

bearcore has been hard at work on the showers and water effects. This place will be unlocked by paying the motel owner a decent sum of money, and you'll be rewarded with various shower related scenes. It will also wash off any stain effects on Jenna, including but not limited to cum. Right now we're still blocking out the scenes, as we've been focusing on getting the alcohol tasks to full completion along with the main story.
