S'up you beautiful bastards! Hope you're having a fantastic Wednesday. Welcome back to the Philip DeF-- uh weekly Dev Update and let's just jump into it.

Carceburg

We're going to be seeing updates on Carceburg a lot since 0.2.0 is focused on the fun little town. This week bearcore expanded the town to over twice its original size. This adds a ton more houses and gives us a lot more space to make the town feel more like a town and less like an itty bitty village. We're also planning out the implementation of a stealth sequence that will play out through combat whenever you're outside during curfew.

If you get caught, you get taken to the town jail where only pure and innocent things can occur.

Missions

One of the main overhauls that we've been in the middle of has been for our mission framework. We've achieved parity with the old system, and we've replaced all the old setups in the prologue levels with the new system. Now not only is the new system a ton easier to work with, we also have the ability to easily add more features to it. The overhaul also comes with a fancy new UI for the missions menu, so it's not all invisible back-end stuff!

Gallery

Ask and you shall receive! We've listened to your feedback and started work on implementing a gallery to the game. Scenes will add to the gallery as you see them (and even some that you miss) and you'll be able to view them whenever you go to bed and let Jenna dream about them. Our dialogue system made this fairly easy to toss together, so here's what we have so far from a quick implementation!

We're hoping to have 0.2.0 out to you guys by the end of March, but until then we'll be back with another Sketch Vault to show off some more of Gear's hard work on Friday. Keep an eye out for that, and we'll see you next week in another Development Update!
