This Month

We were finally able to release the first version of Third Crisis to the public after months of hard work constructing all the systems, sprites and story. We're incredibly proud of the effort that went into the game, and we hope that everyone enjoys what is available right now.

You can find the release post here.

Looking Forward

March Update
Our goal with the next content update in March is to start opening up the world and allow choice, because we know that right now the game is incredibly linear. The only choice you have in the game is whether or not you want to turn on the lights while you have to find your clothes.

We want to fix that and add optional tasks that you can do, people you can talk to, little choices you can make here and there. The story will still remain on a fairly linear path, but we want to make our RPG feel more like an RPG. The update will help us flesh out the town of Carceburg, and what goes on there.

One of the main focuses will be adding more lewd content than we have now, since we know that the game is a little lacking in that department right now.

The Boss Fight (SPOILERS)
One of the most common things we've heard from feedback is that the Leath boss fight 'win' state is not very clear at all and we agree! We definitely want to fix this problem before our next content update in March.

We originally had it so that you had to get hit by Leath a full four times to lose the fight and if you managed to defeat her four engineers before you got hit those four times, you 'won' the fight and got the sex scene for it when you're defeated.

In the release version, we toned it down so that after you got the win condition, Leath only had to hit you once to end the fight. We've realized now that that solution simply isn't enough to clear up the confusion on when you've done what we wanted you to for the boss fight.

Now what we're going to be doing is triggering a cutscene when all four engineers are defeated that will stop the combat right away and make the defeat feel more like a defeat for Jenna in the story, rather than a confusing defeat for you.

Here's a super rough WIP of what we're aiming for after the fourth engineer is defeated.

Sorry about that! We made sure to fix it in 0.1.1 at least. :D
