I love the first/B&W one, it tells such a tale with a single basically pinup and a few lines of text. What I try to accomplish (and fail miserably lol) with some of mine X.x...

Mhmmm. It's difficult. It doesn't work if the artist isn't behind it. You wanna give the artist enough to make sure they're getting your idea, but not so much to make them feel constrained by it. And it's still a gamble, cause maybe the entire concept doesn't appeal to the artist.... I mean, I try, but I'm sure not every piece I do is a hit, especially in the sketches, where the time I have for 'em is limited.
