Explaining the silence around here... (Patreon)

Dear patrons,

I just thought I'd post something here, to apologize for the lack of posts, and let you know why.

First order of business. To NEW patrons: WELCOME!
I tend to send out personal welcome messages to patrons of the $5 tier and up, and I haven't done so all month so far. I'm sorry, I will do that, but it will be a belated welcoming message. :D 

To new patrons for $10 and up: I will be in touch soon about your sketch request! I've not forgotten you!

Okay, so... why?

I've been swamped last few months. I've drawn about 30 comic pages in a relatively short amount of time. It's been super fun, but I've also been leaning towards burning myself out.
I'm NOT taking a break right now. But I AM temporarily working on a non-kink, non-drawing project at the moment, just for a change in pace.

On the side of that, I'm even working on a commissioned series of drawings, which probably won't be posted for a while yet. This is a relatively easy job that I'm having fun doing. 

In short: I'm just taking it a little easier.
But next week, my full focus is gonna be back on my Patreon work. I'm planning on getting A LOT of sketches done, in particular. 

So... NO, I'm not on a break. YES, you have been charged for this month, and believe me, you will get your money's worth. I've simply been catching my breath a little. :-)
I'm actually not expecting to do any posts this week. But starting next week, things are gonna get spammy. :-P
