The Making of Under Lock & Key, page 11 (Patreon)

I got back into a swing of drawing Jenny again in this page. Technically though, there's not much to get into.

So instead, let's go a bit into the storytelling. Specifically, past storytelling! 

We (Peculiar Changeling and I) knew we were going to have to hit Jenny's ultimate low point in this chapter. Until now, the entire story has been all fun and games. With the exception perhaps of her messing her diapers in the crowded mall, mostly her adventures have been amusing. Hell, she may be able to laugh them off herself, given some time. Like.... years! ;-) 

That's why we didn't linger on that moment before. I'm sure many people weren't too happy about that, wanting to dwell on her humiliation, and people seeing her.....
But this is a very visual way of telling a story. We could have done that, but to me, it wouldn't have been very interesting, but more importantly, to the readers, it would have made it seem like a very low point in Jenny's life. It's difficult to  convey the idea that she could sink lower. Frankly, I don't know how I would have handled these scenes had I gone all out in her humiliation before.

I'll get more into other reasons for taking this approach once the chapter ended. I want to avoid spoilers for now. :-)
