I've come to really enjoy writing these 'behind the scenes' chapters for the comic, but in this case.... there's really not much to say! 

It's funny, but it had been close to about 10 months since I last drew Jenny regularly, and... it shows! I had a hard time getting her right, as is obvious in this first sketch.
Still, this happens quite a lot, and it's usually fixed in the lining phase. 

Actually, let's get into that a bit. It's not so much the lining that saves a lousy sketch: It's the coloring.
Our eyes are not meant to see things in lines. We see things in shapes. Color helps setting things apart. Quite often, when a drawing is faulty, it's not in the lining where it shows. It's in the coloring phase. 

That's actually why I sometimes sketch in color: It helps me see the shapes right. 

Still, even if it's the colors telling me "Hof, you're doing it wrong!", it's still the lines where I fix it. Hence: "it's usually fixed in lining". ^_^ 

So... Yeah, like I said, not much to say. I've already been stretching it, so..... Let's keep it at this for now! ^_^
