Two things to note here:

In the making of the previous page, I pointed out there's a "bingo" moment in drawing every character, where you just get her, and know how to draw her from that moment on. For Delilah, the fourth panel in the previous page came close, but the fourth panel for this page was IT. It's a simple panel, but for me, it's the prototype Delilah. From that moment on, I started enjoying drawing her so much, I suggested to Pecu we do a spin-off comic starring her. :-D

It was a joke, but..... who knows.... maaaaaaaybe.... ;-)

Anyways, the second thing to note is the 'dream' panel. The flashback.

I struggled with how to do flashbacks. They're tricky. You have to be clear on them being "flashbacks", or the reader will be like "Wait, what's happening now?!?". It can be jarring, and really take you out of the story.
It was also a decision I felt I had to do RIGHT, because.... well, more flashbacks are happening later on in the chapter. I wanna try to keep it all in one style as well, after all!

So, I experimented with a sepia tone for that panel. I hated it. Eventually, I turned to the start of chapter 5. It STARTS with an extended flashback, and I really liked how those pages came out in the end. So I tried to duplicate that effect, and I hoped it would be clear to people it was a dream sequence. Check for yourself to see wether I succeeded, here's the final version:
