Hi, all!

So I've had more than a few emails this week about readers being unable to open Epubs. For the last few years, all I do is download my chapters as epubs straight from google docs, so nothing has changed on my end.

If you are one of my epub users, please do this brief poll for me! If you have no problems, then you're done. If you do have problems, please comment either the program you open them with or the device you use. I need to figure out if this is something on my end or if it's outside of my control.

Thanks!

Can't open with iPhone running ios 16

So I’ve just updated my iPhone iOS to 16.0.2 and the files do now open correctly. They didn’t open with iOS16.0.0. This maybe the problem, and the fix. Mike would be proud.

Had issues on both Kindle Fire 8 and 10 so I just use the pdf one instead. I also had issues with BluDraygen stories so it's not just yours.

I always DL the epub on my iPhone, move it from Downloads to KyBook 3, and read away!

It appears that since earlier this year when Amazon changed their supported formats for kindle your epub files no longer work when sent to a kindle. I also use calibre and that can parse them just fine, but if you send the file to the amazon kindle converter service it comes back with an error (format not supported or something like that). I've been sending the docx files to the converter since then to get around it - they get converted and can be read on the kindle but it loses the meta data. *Before Amazon's update I was able to send your .epub files straight to the kindle converter and they worked fine.
