End of Year Update (2018) (Patreon)

Hey all!

Holy shit. 2018 is over!

A year ago, I had just put out chapter 12 of Home for Horny Monsters, ending the storyline of Book One. Since then, the following has happened:

1. Got it published as Radley's Home for Horny Monsters

2. It has gotten up to #3 in the paranormal erotica category

3. It currently floats in the top 100 for paranormal erotica

4. It was recently reviewed by famous fantasy author Piers Anthony (via email). If he puts the review on his website, I will link you to it. (Short version: he liked it!)

I also wrote a second book (HFHM Book 2), have started a third, and am working on the Last Arachne. During the beginning of the year, I went through a couple of personal tragedies that impacted me hard, but I was able to pull through with hard work and perseverance. Your support was pivotal to my mental well being. No matter how shit my life was, I was always able to say "Your readers appreciate what you are doing."

That being said, I changed jobs, worked hard, and am now sitting in a pretty good position to maintain course. So a few thoughts:

1. I will finish Iceman. I get asked a bit about this. I've been working on it here and there. I thought I would have it done by now, but the Monster-verse keeps pulling me back. There's only one chapter left, and it involves the one that got away.

2. I am working with a new artist to commission a picture of Ana. That being said, I am going to start doing some art polls next year for $3 tiers and up. I'm aware that I give you all options, but I would like to do those polls more often, and that's a fun way to do it. I also like that I am supporting artists that have dreams similar to my own, so I may have guest artists from time to time.

3. Once we get a bit farther into 2019, I will get with my editor again and start working on Book 2 so that it gets published. Currently, I have plots all the way through Book 4 and am hoping to be writing Book 5 by this time next year.

4. I started posting on Stories Online and have been getting nice feedback there. Once I catch up (I only posted Book One there), the posting order is Patreon, then Lit, then Wattpad and SO simultaneously. I got my start on Lit and intend to honor the 2800 people who follow me there. I don't intend on posting anywhere else because it does take time maintaining each of those pages plus this one, my homepage and also my Twitter. Also, to give my readers an idea of why I don't always respond to comments and such, here's a screen cap from Wattpad:

5. I haven't posted Last Arachne to Lit yet. My intention is to finish Iceman first and then start posting Last Arachne (if I don't, half of the comments will be 'but you haven't finished Iceman yet!'). So Lit people will be getting it there, just not nearly as fast as HFHM stuff. LA will eventually be up on Amazon (pro edited and such), but there will be a way for you good folks to get a free copy here.

6. I FINALLY get to watch Avengers: Infinity War. I swore off movies until I could make three posts in one month again, and have managed to avoid spoilers (which is easy cause I'm always writing), but it's all my nerd friends want to talk about. So there is that.

To you, my dear Patrons, I hope you have a safe and happy New Years celebration. You mean the world to me and have allowed me to walk a path that has led me to meet some awesome (like-minded) people, and I love having you as readers.
