It's such a shame that the song at the end doesn't have subtitles. It's so beautiful, here if you want the lyrics: https://youtu.be/fNGhS2dTcs0?si=_57rDvxKdfKf7Lp-

The decision to spell things out a little more plainly in the anime than they chose to do in the manga really helped get the true intent of the ending across better. As always, love your reactions.

Should I get into anime?

Komikall

yeah, it's nice to get into. I feel like at times it can be "deeper" than some shows simply because anime allows the story to portray a lot of internal thinking. It doesn't make it better than other mediums of storytelling by any means, but it's something I can appreciate. I also feel like I get a more personal experience since I'm reading subtitles and hearing a foreign voice. This is because I focus on the emotions in the voice rather than the execution of the words. If you're getting into it, I'd say to just watch on your own or with a friend without letting social media influence you. I know people who are passionate about it can come off as weird especially to people who aren't too fond or knowledgeable about it so it's better to just take a shot and form your own opinion. Hope I convinced you in any way.

it was smart as heck to not release this on youtube first because i absolutey wanted to see your reaction to it. Is the discussion portion found somewhere else?

ah okay i read the description :) Thank you for this and i was SOO relieved that the final episode of AOT turned out the way it did. Isayama took the critism about his ending to heart. I always felt like it was the perfect and only way you could end the anime. The only thing u could improve on is the pacing and dialogue choices and he nailed it.

Hi guys, Yi wanted me to translate their comment for them into English, so here it is: I thought that Eren was indeed a complex character and had tried various things, like a simulation game's multiple endings, including bad end routes and good end routes. That route became the path Ymir created, and after much contemplation, he chose the path that allowed him to see a world where only the people of Paradis Island were left. Despite struggling to create a future where everyone could be saved among the many branching choices, along the way, Sasha and Hanji also died. In his jumbled-up mind, he had to keep moving toward the goal he had set for himself, a future both in the past and the future. I guess he wanted to go to a world no one knew, but as Eren himself said, the idea of a world with no one in it is probably foolish. He was just a child. I thought about whether giving someone like Sasha's father the Founding Titan power might lead to a different future, but it seems that conflicts will never truly disappear, haha.
