the difference is when jumping, they can already jump really freaking high. the nen enhances that. with the hand, it's purely nen. nothing is helping

The jump they enhanced their legs to physically jump. With this one, Gon is trying to fire aura out and have that push him up without using his body, an emitter attack, which is not his category.

I don't see it that way. Chimera Ant is the H x H arc. It's half of the entire show. There's an overwhelming critical acclaim to this arc in the entire anime world. I rarely if ever hear people dislike it. I don't understand where this "don't create false expectations" thing came from. The beauty of this arc is that people can enjoy it for different reasons/have different opinions but still end to the conclusion that is a damn fine piece of storytelling. If their expectations get crushed, then so be it. But people getting excited over them watching the Chimera Ant arc (considering they've been following them through their H x H journey) have every right to do so. Without spoiling it of course.

Honestly, their expectations are already high due to Lola's friend. I don't know why people are so concerned about them having too high expectations. They even expressed that they are fine with people being excited for them to watch it and not to worry about them being disappointed.

i think they do know? idk whether from fans or from friends but they’ve been constantly jokingly wondering when the link between this and CA will be. i think as long as you don’t spoil actual plot lines it’s ok. they seem like adults, and can think for themselves whether ppl hype or complain about an arc

That would be Yorknew as my favorite and the Election as second to that. Don't get me wrong I like all the arcs in the show but Chimera just drags a bit to much for me.

Yeah, Chimera arc has some of the highest highs, but also some of the lowest lows. It's just too damn long and I only care for about half the characters in it, so there are a bunch of episodes that are really boring in my opinion.
