Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach became good friends working on the Punisher season 1 together. Wouldn't surprise me he got him to take this part.

You guys reaction to seeing Jon Bernthal didn't disappoint. I know when I first watched this episode and he popped up it took me out of the scene for a second. Like Milena, he wasn't what I had imagined Michael to be, but as the scene went on I realized it actually makes perfect sense for Michael to like that. Him and Richie's chaotic energy together was heartbreaking to see because it makes you realize Richie really lost his partner in crime, literally and figuratively lol, and now he doesn't know his place anymore. I hated that he snapped at Sydney but I loved that Tina stood up for her, also I always appreciate just how caring Carmy is with the women in his life (except his mom apparently), like he always makes sure to apologize to Sugar when she vents her frustrations and he always apologizes and checks in with Sydney at the end of everyday to make sure they are on good terms, it's really sweet.

It's amaaazing casting because the way they describe Mikey - loveable, charismatic, hilarious, could capture a room with a story - is exactly how people think of Jon Bernthal. With a single scene you understand why everyone was shocked when he killed himself, even if they knew about the addiction. Carmy is very interesting and I won't say more at this point, but I love how the characters (particularly the men) on the show are able to broadly take accountability for their mistakes and slipups.

Their schedule is two twice a week uploads for longer shows (1 anime, 1 live action) and two once a week uploads for 'shorter shows' (also 1 anime, 1 live action). The Bear was polled for a shorter show and literally came in 4th, so they watched the winner and then they decided they really wanted to watch the bear so they skipped the poll for it.
