The mafia guy that gave Kurapika a hard time is named Bean according to the subtitles. This show has two character named Bean and they both play assistant roles.

The old man Zeno is bad ass. The tag on his shirt says "I will never retire." it's some of the best character design I've ever seen. The type of thing a grump old man would say is way more hardcore when an assassin says it.

To be exact, the assistant to Netero is "Beans" with an 's' at the end. But it is interesting Togashi decided to name this guy Bean. "Beans" is more understandable for Netero's assistant because of how he looks lol. Maybe Togashi really likes the word bean....maybe he chose a word at random for this insignificant character. Maybe it's a reference to the phrase "bean counter", a (disparaging) phrase used for accountants. This guy was a bit of an accountant by him seemingly tracking the "two thousand men" assembled to the area (only to get wrecked), him keeping track of the situation, and him accounting for the merchandise (and, indirectly, the money related to the bids). Yes, I wrote this comment.
