😖this isn’t fullmetal and you aren’t prepared for the next four episodes of Mob. The show goes WEIRD, then DANGEROUSLY serious. Really appreciating how simple it is though, it’s a short time period like all the other seasons. Btw, I think the three seasons of Mob cover half of his second year and the first two semesters of his third year. Haven’t read the manga, this is just what it’s leaning towards from my perspective. Feeling a lot of things lately, just in general, but I’ve stuck around since you started Avatar and I’m compelled into reiterating my appreciation for the two of you. You’re a little slice of familiarity half a world away, and this space is a ticket, a promise, an offer of vulnerable serotonin-induced simplicity that resonates with your pocket sized audience, in this niche corner of sympathy and quality we call LM. So ya, thanks for letting us join you on your adventure.

Be careful with spoiling upcoming show details. Otherwise, agree with how you're feeling about their reactions, it's been wonderful!

If it’s not confirmed nor suggests/implies specific plot points, then to me it’s fair game. Of course I’m tactful, but I love when they react to comments (regardless if it’s mine) so I try to hype things up, get them thinking, provoke certain lines of reasoning that could potentially grant them a stronger foundational understanding of the content we all came to enjoy. It’s all for fun, shits and giggles.

He is nearing the end of his second year which is why they are asking for his future goals. He would spend his third year focusing on what his goals are. In the first episode of Season 3 I believe they listed out everyone's years and school ranks. A good indication of time is the Body Improvement and Telepathy Clubs as there are still third years present.

Totally forget they were upper classmates. You’re right on the money

PLEASE READ, GIVES YOU INFO ON WHY ANIME CHARACTERS TEND TO SHOW LOTS OF INDEPENDENCE OF THEIR OWN PARENTS AT A YOUNG AGE! I think u guys never knew this but Japanese people and just Asian people in general tend to mature wayyyy quicker in society than other nationalities. Me having an Asian American mother, but African American dad (and many other races within me), there's a lot of differences between those races in teachings from a parental standpoint. Its more of a cultural thing to be honest with Asian parents. They tend to be a lot stricter on just how to be a mature responsible human being at a VERY young age. That's why you see Mob and his brother become very independent and are raised as very nice and loving kids to the people around them! Japanese people are actually very formal and respectful towards their peers and strangers because of their parents teaching them discipline. In Japan they allow lots of prefectures with middle school being the only highest mandatory educational level that you need for your future life. High school and of course college is not mandatory to go to in a lot of places in Japan! That's also the reason why Japanese schools are so stressful and jam packed with homework, test, quizzes, studies, hard learning classes, and etc. You basically get you ready for the outside world of living at a very early age. Hence why Mob is struggling on his future endeavor papers. Also for Mobs' parents to be absent a lot in the series, its actually very common for Japanese teens and kids to be very independent from their parents; Usually hanging with friends, doing clubs at school, or actually having a part-time job for themselves at a young age is very common for Japanese teens. Its kinda sad to hear that because a lot of anime are conveying real life scenarios with slice of life elements (Mob Psycho being a Slice of life genre) or just anime in general that shows off our characters with their friends or family usually are very separated and self-supporting for themselves. Not to say some Japanese parents aren't close at all to their kids because Japanese parents are very caring and loving, but they respect their own child's personal space. There's definitely more info on why there's lots of other separation from the parents and their kids, but this would take forever to list everything LOL
