To answer your question at the beginning, yes, the writers have said that they always planned for book 6 to be where the show pauses/stops because of the way book ends and the fact that books 7-9 would be very challenging to put to screen. They have said they would be interested in adapting the rest of the story sometime in the future but there are no plans currently.

I was extremely worried when they announced that the last season would only be 6 episodes. I felt like the expanse always had excellent pacing with a good mix of action and slower moments. I was expecting season 6 to rush through events with little moments for character development and suffer from similar issues like GoT S8. So glad I was wrong though. This was in my opinion a perfect penultimate episode even though not much actually happened.

I am hoping for LM StoryTime where Milena and Lola read the next three books to us. Having already read them I cannot wait to hear their reactions if the books are made into a series or movies.

After all this time, here we are. The whole show leading up to this. Years of trauma, war, contact with an alien species, more war, societal collapse, all leading up to this one moment, the thing it was all for. And we dont even get an answer as to whether or not Bobbie went to the brothel with Amos, or WITH Amos.

I'm pretty sure she did. Book Amos and book Bobbie don't have this conversation, but Alex (who is still very much alive) has a brief relationship with one of the Belters who are on the Rocinante. It's kinda put down to "we're going to war and may die, so let's have some fun" and I think they integrated it into the show. And I absolutely loved it.

Do you guys ship Bobbie and Amos? Was looking forward to this moment a lot and it didn't disappoint. This one is one of my favorite episodes. The Naomi and Camina scene was very emotional and very powerful.

well, i hope you enjoy it! this one is the third show i've started because you reacted to it and i loved it so thanks :) death note wasn't my favourite but i had it on my watchlist for years ao i got it out of the way.

Amazon has the sole distribution rights to the 6 seasons for 2-3 yrs after S6 aired. That's the deal Alcon made with them after Syfy cancelled the show. So, if anything happens before that, it won't be a series.

In the 6th book, they estimated that 15 billion are dead, and billions more were going to die in the months/years ahead. So I don't care about Marco, Filip or their followers. Camina Drummer is my Queen!

Yup. We're having enough problems now that you'd think they would have figured out that this kind of "system" doesn't work. The writers did an excellent job of fleshing this out in the books, and in the show. History repeating over and again.
