Healthy reality. That's what's phenomenal about The Expanse. Most shows are either "real" or "optimistic". The authenticity of the characters & f'd up consequences makes The Expanse is the most deeply optimistic show I know.

The authors gave an explanation for the 30 year gap in an interview. Initially they planned for a 12 book series. But as they were writing they felt that the material in those 30 years was lackluster. So, they eliminated three volumes and created a 9-book series. As a reader of all 9 books, the 30-year gap felt natural to me and the story stays exciting!

You two not only have some of the best editing, but defo the best reactions + commentaries for any show. If you can't find anyone to edit your videos, slowing down the uploads is a considerable option. Do not strain/stress yourselves for our entertainment, find a healthy volume for uploads and be sure to keep your personal affairs first and us second :) Also 4 more episodes of the expanse :(

I also kind of had the feeling with book 7-9 that they wanted to do a bigger time skip, but at the same time they didn't want to give up the familiar characters. That's probably why the compromise with 30 years came about.

It's a tough problem you girls have. You probably also need to find a Serbian editor for subtitles since you occasionally slip into the language. I hope you guys do find one though because it would make your life much easier and we'd get more content taking less time away from you. :)

The Laconia vignettes introduce you to new world building there and set the stage for events to come if there ever is a sequel/movie/continuation of the story. Some of the phenomena seen in these vignettes are part of the future adventures. Some of the characters you will meet on Laconia, including the “strange dogs”, will be part of the story in any sequel. Do you remember the excitement you had when you realized Miller would meet the Roci crew, and Bobbi and Avasarala would meet the Roci crew? Here’s hoping!

Clarissa is starting to come into her own on the Roci. I loved her saving the mission in this episode. She even made Bobbie come around!

To be honest I started fast-forwarding the Laconia parts because the acting was not great and I did not care what happened there since I knew it would never pay off. It bums me out that not only was the last season shorter than the rest but also that they spent so much time with those Laconia characters. If we do get more Expanse in the future then great, but if this was it they could have left most of the Laconia stuff out completely.

Hi! Not sure how you two pick new shows to react to. But I think Mr. Robot would be an amazing replacement to The Expanse.
