I suspect they already knew that. Most anime change the opening every 10 to 15 episodes (average 12.5). FMAB has 64 episodes, so it has 5.12 (≈ 5) openings / endings. In comparison, Attack on Titan, with 87 episodes, has a total of 6.96 (≈ 7) openings / endings.

Its iffy, I wouldnt go by episode count for that formula but arcs. 10-15 episodes usually consists of an arc, and thats typically why it would change. Usually its either act based, split cours, seasons. There are definitely anime that harshly contrast that idea when they have long acts or cours, for instance, death note, which I believe doesnt change anything till episode 21 around the halfway point of the entire show. OR like 2011 hxh which had the same opening for a majority of the seasons. Definitely is a bit weird, but yeah youre generally right. Im not disagreeing just making conversation lol
