Rhea Seehorn did a fantastic job directing her first ever episode of TV! The scene with Gus at his house was incredible. The man seriously bought the house across the street and connected them via an underground tunnel so he could have a whole off-the-books safehouse hidden in plain sight complete with a surveillance setup of his own house and a private security force. It looks like he's paying the owners of the house to live in the basement and make appearances in the neighborhood so there are no suspicions about the house. I bet even the mortgage is still in their name so Gus has no affiliation with that property. Did you even notice that Gus had a body double dressed exactly like him walk by when he was going through the tunnel to the other house to take his place in his house? The villains in this show are prepared for everything. And yes, it WAS Saul's office from Breaking Bad.

aww man you guys didn't recognize Spooge! He was the guy in BB that got his head crushed with an ATM machine by his wife. Remember when Jesse went to their house to get his money and he ended up taking care of the little kid.

This episode was directed by Rhea Seehorn, and it couldn't have been more perfect. From the amazing camera work that captured these single shots, we saw some great filming here. Kim walking towards the car she identified from the Cafe, walking through that Sea of Red, everything behind her during that walking single shot was red. Red brick buildings, red flowers, red signs, red leather seats, the entire walk was her walking through a sea of red, indicating she was walking through the criminal world. She was wearing red again during the con on Howard, at her lunch with Clifford. If Kim isn't wearing Red, the background objects around her are all red, the walls, flowers, all the way to red cups. Kim is at a point where there is no turning back now, she is completely gone down the criminal element, and I LOVE IT!

Couple of reference in this episode. 1. Spooge - This guy was the one that got his head crushed by the ATM in Breaking Bad 2. Possibly Ernie? The double of Gus in the tunnel that did the switcharoo, this looked like Ernie - but I cannot verify 3. The Toilet, the Toilet at the end of the episode, is this the same one that is in Saul's mansion that was turned gold? It looked like an inside joke between both Kim and Jimmy, so perhaps this is a symbol of their inside joke inside the mansion by turning the entire toilet gold as some sort of twisted present for the other half Additionally, I wonder if Spooge is going to be the anchor between the cross-over to Breaking Bad, because Spooge was a character in Breaking Bad BEFORE Saul was introduced, Saul was introduced a week or two after Spooge. This might be where we get our Jesse / Walter connection, because Spooge is looking super healthy and super wealthy. He's also making a point about his appearance, "It's just Spooge!" - so perhaps this is the connection to the cross over at a later point?

Cliff having a genuine interest/investment in Kim's dream felt like a parallel to Walter and Gretchen/Elliot. Kim could get what she wants the right way, but she's choosing to do it this way because "She likes it, she's good at it, and she's really... she's alive"

I love the Taco Cabeza call back at the end! "Most the deals ive ever done went down at Taco Cabeza....people don't get shot at Taco Cabeza. Hell why not the Mall?!" - Jesse to Walt about meeting Tuco in that Car dump.

One thing we need to understand is that Kim doesn’t feel she is getting even with Howard. Kim is doing this so the lawyer for the Sandpiper case Howard is discredited so the case can be settled and Kim and Saul can get that payout in order to afford to take on all the free pro bono cases and help people like a Wendy who she gave her card to. So in her eyes it’s like Robin Hood robbing from the rich and giving to the poor so even though her and Saul are doing something evil to Howard in her mind it’s justified since she will be able to help people for free that can’t afford a fancy lawyer in the long run. That Kim and Mike scene was awesome. Mike has so much respect for Kim as being a bad ass not only did she stand up to Lalo but she just walked right over to the guys he hired to follow her.

Yeah, exactly this. I keep seeing their reactions based on them needing "therapy", but it's all about Sandpiper in the long run. That's Kim's thinking, she wants the sandpiper money to be released to Jimmy / her. For Jimmy, he still blames Howard for Chuck's death as a method of not accepting responsibility himself - but the sole purpose of these cons is for the Sandpiper money and has nothing really to do with the characters needing therapy as LM are suggesting.
