edit: the edited one was nearly done exporting and then my laptop crashed and is currently "repairing disk errors" and it might take a while to complete. so i don't think ill be able to post it before tomorrow, sorry for the wait

there was no part of us that thought when we woke up today that we were about to watch the rumbling. a shocking moment for us.

it's basically confirmed that the show is not ending because there's still too much to animate. if it ends up being animated into a movie are you going to wait to react to it or try to watch it in the cinema in case it is released i theatres in serbia? it would be a shame that we didn't get to watch your reactions to th3 last part but i'd understand if you wanted to watch it in the big screen

I really liked the back story of Ymir, and another thing I liked was that they showed that Ymir was part of building up eldia's roads, bridges, and the civilization as a whole but also part of mass genocide of Marley so both halves of the story is true but of course people only focused on what propels their propaganda further. Great reaction! <3

You literally cannot be on Eren’s side if this happens because he will have done something worse than Stalin, Hitler, Mao and Genghis khan combined if he actually goes through with this no matter what happens killing this many people automatically makes him horrible. Eren is my fav character but honestly this plan will result in some many innocent people dying that I can’t see how this is possibly worth it. I’m for Zeke’s plan over this. A small rumbling to give paradis time would be preferable to killing everyone. This will be genocide on a scale unimaginable.

I have confidence this is gonna be on the post discussion, but just in case: Ymir was not Eldian, Eldians capture her and made her (and the rest in the village) part of Eldia, this is why they are called Subjets of Ymir. "My daughters, reproduce, bear childrens, pass the blood, Ymir power must not die". So they did, they reproduce, they had childens for 2.000 years, this is why Subjets of Ymir can transform into titans. Ymir only had one decision in her life, the time and place to die, 13 years after adquiring the power of the titans, that's why the king said: Stand up, you can't die from a spear. Her will to live was below zero. The 3 walls were named after her daughters, Rose, Maria and Sina. After her daughters ate her corpse, you can see the coordinate expand to 3 branches. After that you can see the tree having more and more branches, this is a representation of the Subjects of Ymir reproducing and having more children. The ending of S2 had all this episode, the rumbling, the cannibalism, Ymir talking to the Titans. And this episode reached #1 with a perfect 10/10 on IMDB in less than 10 hours. PD: I need the OST from this episode, is absolutely amazing.

It's weird to me that other watchers doubted the Eldian history so much. The history of their atrocities was only lost to Paradis for 100 years. The rest of the world wouldn't hate the Eldians EVEN MORE than Marley does if they weren't continually witnessing their empire. I thought that part would have been made clear during the Declaration of War episode. I did love the confirmation of Ymir's great works of cultivation though

Eren's speech to ymir is the best thing of the ep for me. The fact that Eren undestands ymir the most because she is a slave is so awesome. He give the chance of her dont bow to anyone anymore. Ymir and eren is the perfect combination of a slave and someone Who only fights for freedom

I am truly sorry you guys were dragged into this masterpiece of depression. The look of your face when they showed that Eren face at the end with him saying he will wipe everything out.. That was the final straw, you guys lost all hope on him. But don't forget, he said he would do this all the way back to season 1, first in episode 2 when he said he'll destroy every titan to season 1 episode 25 saying he'll destroy the entire world. And btw don't quit the show yet, we already suffered through 90% lmao. Love your reactions

That's an excellent interpretation. I thought something similar, but I more so just thought it was along the lines of being metaphorical for joining hands with eldia. I hadn't considered it to be directly king fritz with his "devilish" helmet, but that makes more sense. Kinda surprised I didn't pick up on that myself lol

The way I see it: Eren idea is to value the freedom the most. This is way he freed Ymir from the 'curse' of being a slave. It is what I like about him howover his decision what to do with the rumbling is a contradiction of compasion. He's more like the first Fritz king than any other character which makes me hate him. I don't see how his ideology holds up. To be honest Zeke or Frieda solutions are more acceptable to me.

Armin's solution was better than all of those imo. No, it's not a permanent solution, but that's precisely why I like it. Do the best you can, don't try to play God, and let future generations determine their own path if new choices need to be made down the line. I dislike the idea of 'deciders' who think they have the right to make permanent decisions for entire groups of people.

I've had trouble with the character of Ymir since I learned about this part of the story. *Mild (technical) spoilers*, but.... If I recall correctly, she did actually set the pigs free. When she had no power, she rebelled, albeit in a very small way; but with the power of a god, she merely served. That's really hard for me to wrap my head around.

Just to remind you that titans don't heal if they don't have the will to live like reiner in part 1 of s4. Ymir lost the will to keep going after being told to get up my slave.

The following can be considered a minor spoiler, but I just really see it wrong everywhere, unfortunately: Ymir does not build every titan in the Paths. She only has to create the Titans that the Founder Titan created out of thin air. That's why we only see her building Colossal Titans from the sand, more specifically Wall Titans. The Pure Titans and the Titanshifter Titans are determined by the serum and the Titan power. How big a Pure Titan is is determined by the serum. How a Titan looks visually depends on the person, their personality, and other conditions (will become clearer what the other conditions are in later episodes).
