Just found out two days ago that Philece Sampler, the one who voiced the old Toph Beifong, died in July of this year due to a heart attack. She was 68. Sorry for the bad news, but we can still all celebrate her awesome portrayal and ability to capture Toph's spirit, as well as send good vibes to the rest of her family who are likely still grieving.

The season was on the nick website as the company was messing around with the scheduling as they didn’t believe in the show. Or it wasn’t a show that sold toys. The gap between season 3 and 4 was only a few months if I remember right. I expected it to be a year then it was suddenly like ‘oh it’s coming in a few months!’ The vibes were just Nickelodeon wanted to be done with it.

I watched lord of the rings in theater when I was about 6, it was an amazing experience. You guys should react to lord of the rings next just to finally force Milena to watch them 😆🤣

Lola, I get your point about the avatar but the thing is... you can't debate against the will of Raava. She chooses who Wan reincarnates into. So its not up to us to try and ask why the Avatar should have the power to make worldwide decisions. It's Raava as well. She knows how to keep balance, more than anyone. Whether the people like it or not, you can't question someone like that. The avatar gets that power because the Universe chose her. And that's that. Then it's up to the avatar to learn how to best keep balance in their world.

I agree, I think people who hate Korra just watched Seasons 1+2 or weren't paying attention. Not to say she's perfect but she's a great protagonist imo. Genuinely feel for her, being an Avatar is hard

The way you talk about Korra makes me so happy and proud ngl. Korra, Azula and Kyoshi are my favourite characters from the avatarverse but I always feel protective of Korra because, as Milena said, many people don't like her and some even hate her and always talk shit about her. It makes me happy you enjoyed her character as a whole even before she started to grow as a person. And again, I would love for you to make some type of review video or something if you ever read the Kyoshi novels. I'm sure you'd adore Kyoshi even more (she's literally a 2 m walking cinnamon roll) and probably you'd also love Rangi. I think the novels have one of the best villains of the avatarverse too, so I hope you read the novels some day.

I'm not sure that's accurate...It seems implied that humans reincarnate regardless. Raava is just along for the ride since she is bonded to the spirit of the person, the spirit that gets reincarnated. The Avatar can just be more easily tracked throughout reincarnation, as they tend to stand out. It's why there's theories that the new airbenders may not just be descendants of previous Air Nomads, but may be the spirits of deceased Air Nomads re-awakened during Harmonic Convergence. That's not to say that Raava's binding doesn't probably influence the "good" in the new body so that they want to continue to strive for balance...but I wouldn't say it's her choice.

The music in this show and this episode specifically is beautiful. How people have hour+ videos on youtube hating on this show really blows my mind.

Just to clear up the online factor. It was unfortunately due to ratings, people really hated on this show unjustly. It was after episode 8 of season 3 that all remaining episodes of season 3 and all of season 4 would be only online. Such a shame, especially considering the tail end of season 3 and the first half of season 4 if the best parts of the show IMO

Korra has one of the best character developments i have ever seen, she truly became such a great avatar, even when she was dealing with so much pain and suffering. we love her

I HATE it when people come for Korra for having flaws, for making bad decisions and stumbling. I like that she isn't perfect, that she's constantly trying to work hard on her faults and honestly just trying to do the best she can to help everyone as the Avatar. That's called being human, and learning from your mistakes, and overcoming fears and traumas. People look at the negatives without considering the positives too. Her decision led to the revival of the air nomads, something Aang wanted to see for decades. She thwarted three villains threatening peace, and is about to battle a fourth. She's the first metalbending Avatar, too.
